| Apollo celebrates Christmas with OTC launch |
Moisturiser now available | Apollo’s moisturiser range is now on sale at www.apolloappliedscience.com.
“In tests conducted at the Australian Photobiology Testing Facility at the University of Sydney, the range of moisturisers has given the appearance of a firming and smoothing effect on the skin unmatched by any other product tested,” said Apollo’s new head of Applied Science, Nick Cakovski.
“Since developing our anti-ageing moisturiser we’ve also informally provided samples to a few interested shareholders and others close to the company.”
“The reaction from the people who have used it has been quite overwhelming. People have commented that the products make your skin look and feel smoother and healthier – just like it used to.”
As skin ages, its strength and elasticity are reduced, leading to wrinkling and sagging, and less collagen is produced in the connective tissue in the dermis, beneath the outer skin. Apollo’s moisturisers help maintain normal levels of collagen, which complements the skin’s own structure and strength.
The anti-ageing moisturiser comes in three different varieties: Face & Neck, For Eyes and Hands & Body. There is also a version for men, plus a skin whitener called White & Clear that whitens the appearance of skin evenly and safely, and contains UV protection against the damaging rays of the sun.
The unique formula contains the AppliedScience(TM) moisturiser, as well as natural compounds and powerful anti-oxidants. It has also been dermatologically tested.
“We are excited to announce the soft launch of our moisturiser range with web-based sales, and as a Christmas present to shareholders we are providing a gift of the women’s and men’s moisturiser,” said John Priest, Apollo’s Executive Chairman.
The skincare range is the first of Apollo’s renewal products that will cover both over-the-counter health and skincare.
Apollo's good trial results indicate the product will compete strongly in the US$4.1 billion global market for anti-ageing cosmetics.
