HOT TOPIC:
Insulin in a tablet
Using its own technology, Oradel?, Apollo is developing a tablet form of insulin. Preclinical studies show it is now possible to have a long-acting tablet instead of needles. We show why we are confident the human trials will be successful. In experiments, Oradel? insulin brings blood glucose levels into the normal range and holds them there for sustained periods of time, up to 24 hours.
